Have been riding for just over three years, had a bandit but got wiped out just two months after taking my test but my dream bike was always a 5th gen Vfr eventually got two and a half years ago love it. Been to France four times, Belgium twice and the Netherlands as well as UK trips. Done quite a lot of cleaning the bike up and have just fitted chineese fairings, not to everyones taste but I love them. Have also added new levers, grips and end bars, fitted an LED voltmeter and power socket. Polished the front forks so they look like chrome now. Fitted blue LED's in the Instrument cluster. Resprayed Mirrors and top box and rack. Probably other stuff too, I do love tinkering!!

Hey everyone to thier own personally I just dont see the attraction with the 8 spokers espeiically for the silly money people here want for them. Having the wheels powder coated this weekend just got to decide on the colour.

To each, his own still applies but I personally like 8 spoke more than the 5 spoke. Apparently the UK folks must know what they have, as over here we've found them for bargain basement prices. Duccmann got his for less than $200 ($180 shipped). If you take into account that this was for a front and rear wheel, minus the money he got back for selling the front wheel, he paid less than $100 for an 8 spoke wheel! So if prices were this low all the time, the desire for one these might be a little more possibly?
