I feel mankind as we know it is doomed, the problem stems from all the lawers that get churned out of universities that believe that criminals have rights and that they are protected under the human rights convention. As long as this is the mindset of these people mankind is on a road to nowhere

We all need to be paying attention to ebay and craigslist etc. Those wheels are going to pop up. I doubt those thieves have any idea how rare they are....
Anyways, really sorry for your loss and I hope we catch the perpetrators.

this sucks! Thieves should all be publicly flogged when they're caught.

looking at the pictures, definitely the wheels got someone's attention. Definitely got mine.

Just did a craigslist search in the Redding area. nothing posted relating to your bike. on the positive side, hope the BMW treats you well.

Front wheel fits an F2. Galfer rotors.
Rear wheel is a modded Ducati 1098 wheel with a custom hub.

    I'll bring the Louisville slugger.

I think "searchtempest.com" does all craigslist and ebay.

Maybe so but where I live there is something called "The Castle Law". Not all thieves and wannabe murderers are going to make it out alive.

http://www.adhuntr.com/ ... is another one for searching CL across the country. I still miss "Crazedlist", it was the best.

Great looking bike. Those wheels really do have a unique appearance. And with the hub mod, they are more likely to turn up and be identifiable, even if powder-coated.

Driftin, we sure could use a bit of "The Castle Law" out here, every day now we have carjackings and home invasions by gangs of Sudanese youths that our stinking government allowed into this once great country, all because of the stinking human rights commission that has this fairy tale idea they can be integrated into normal society

Oddly enough, I am resigned to the loss. It would be great to catch and prosecute the Bad Guy(s), but the motorcycle I loved is gone. It's really not a matter of money. I'm ok on that. It's the sense of being VIOLATED that gets to me.

The theft adjuster asked me a lot of questions on the record designed to nail me if I was attempting insurance fraud. Interesting. But when she asked whether I want the thieves to be prosecuted, I said "Hell yeah! And worse!" Pretty sure she doesn't believe I am in cahoots with the crooks now . . .

Dealing with any insurance folks it's best to keep in mind that their mantra is not "you first".

And please no fucking stories aboot what a nice guy so and so agent is even if the dude is boffing your sister.

Sorry to hear that Norm. I believe in human rights....the right to protect and defend my family of humans.

I've spent a lot of time in your country running a company along with one here. Your govt. "bought back" firearms to disarm the citizenry a while back and now look at what's going on. Contrary to that, in my state, I can open carry without a permit, and conceal carry with a permit (go figure the permit logic). Surrounding states have essentially the same laws. Consequently, the crazies doing the mass murdering are in states where the citizens are not allowed to be armed. I wonder why they don't do that where I live......
