Just picked up a all original 2003 VFR800 in excellent shape . After owning just about every Japanese sport bike made from 1980 until the mid 1990's and about the time I stopped riding to have a family the riding itch still remained. I owned a few vfr's back in the day and they were always great so it only made perfect sense to buy another bike that could attend to all aspects of my riding wants and needs and so far it has not disappointed !!. Just wanted to say HI !!:potstir: to all and Boy does it feel great to ride and drag a knee once again !! Props to my wife and my two girls who finally gave in and surprised me with this toy on my birthday. :semi-twins:

Thanks for the warm welcomes ..Here is a few pics of the new ride .. Bought it from a 69 yr old guy who could no longer ride and it was sitting in his garage for over a year. He took great care of it and it is dead mint original with 42,000km . Runs great !!

Welcome form the wet coast of Kanada. From where in this otherwise wet or frozen land to you hail?

I am not quite 69 yet and mine has a bit more than 42,000 km on it but regardless, both the bike and I are both still running strong. I am sure if this guy kept his bike in mint shape, he also took care of the wiring harness recall.

    Ride safe.

200,000km that's some good stuff !! I hope mine goes that well .. Funny you should mention the harness recall ,, Checked yesterday with Honda Canada and it has NOT been done on my bike . Scheduling it this week to be done so she is ready to go for next spring ( I hate saying that) Wish I could ride all year long .. Oh well I love that new toy feeling every spring !!
