    Hi guys

    Just bought a 93 VFR 750 (Gen 3???)
    Big bike thats fun to ride but is a little heavy.
    Love the bike to ride and comfortable on a long run.

    Think its running a little rich & I think my reg/rec packed in on the way home today. (I'll create a seperate thread about that)

    Anyway, nice to be here.

    Oh My, you got a good one, there is not many 93s around. Take good care of her and she'll reward you with some great times, Gota chuckle though, Big bike? Not really, but then guess it depends what you are coming from. HDs weigh a lot more. Welcome to the world of crazy yet safe VFR owners. PS: make sure you follow up with some photos please. ;)

    I'm Irish.
    Coming from a 125 varadero so big bike in that regard. Only got on a bike 2 months ago & just passed A licence 10 days ago. Varadero was a lovely bike to ride just lacked guts so couldn't overtake. no such problem with the vfr :D

    Welcome and congrats on your new moto!
    Yes, for pics please!

    My Viffer feels like a lightweight moto now that I'm used to it. Didn't take long...a few hundred miles.
    Now I can pile it high with gear and it still doesn't feel too heavy.

    Hope you figure out the issue you had on the way home!

    Welcome Mr. Mad!

    I'd like to add that it's vital to get your suspension set up correctly for your weight. As in, as important as brakes. I am too heavy for the original suspension of my 99, but I do have it set up as best I can whilst I save for custom bits underneath. A suspension properly set up will go a long ways towards making the bike feel light, as will time spent on the bike.

    Welcome to the V4 madness and remember;

    :peach:I like it too. Fresh power coat on the rims and the paint is recently done. Bike has a few cracks & marks etc but for a 23 year old bike its in pretty good condition. Mileage is a bit high @ 73K miles but these just go on forever so I'm not worried & the sound is :peach:
