You bet. We were in the pits of the top fuelers, watching the crew chief setting the clutches as the car was on stands. There was approximately 50 people standing watching them setup the car. The exhaust was so powerful, it is hard to breathe. The crew chief then blipped the throttle. Let me tell you standing that close to 11000 hp is almost scary. 50 people all jumped simultaneously as the sound waves felt like somebody hit you in the chest. I shit you not, these are amazing machines.
On a side note, Moto GP bikes rank right up there on my list. You have to admire the riders of these bikes. To slide a 240 hp,350 lb. rocket around a track without crashing is amazing. You have to appreciate the talent these people have. Sure they have a lot of technology helping them ride that fast, but very few of us would be able to ride at that pace.
This is why I can't behave on my VFR 1200. Speed is such an adrenaline rush!!!!

Ahh yess, you said it, motorn. Firing up those dragsters while standing right behind is unlike anything else in life!

It's in the pits that I met Don "The Snake" Prudhomme and this young tyke fell in love. John Force was all the rage then, but Don was muh man.
For the longest time I wanted to become a junior dragster, but circumstances didn't allow for it. So here here I am on motos.

I also always had seats right on the starting line so I got the smell of burned rubber and the flakes from the tires floating down on me. Manna from drag racing heaven. And those jet engine sport bikes!!

Brainerd has some great Top Fuel.

John Force and his crew are always there. Juat a short ride from here.

Snowboarding in deep and steep powder or dropping into a line in a bowl/glade from a 20 foot+ cornice, wall diving in the deep blue sea, motocross, snowmobiling, racing ... all of it turns my crank.

I also love long moto trips, camping, camp fires and star gazing.

... i like long walks on the beach ... wait ...

All that's needed now is where Donald Trump gets those full size paintings of himself.

Probably cheaper to get a full length mirror from WalMart.

If so, a short dog of Ronson lighter fluid will do the trick.

First time on newly sealed undulating long distance Alpine twisties.
Nailing that set of steep uphill tight flip flopping corners in the lower gears.
Hearing that sweet spot where the sound of the GDCs mingle with airbox induction and V4s exhaust.
