Hello everyone! I´m from Sintra in Portugal, and I have picked up a red VFR800f 2014 model about 3 days ago. I came from a Honda CBF600 Hornet 2002 model. Yesterday drove almost 500 km and the experience was fantastic! Always loved the charismatic VFR and for me is the realization of a dream! eaceful:
Hi and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome: I spotted your earlier posts and the photo of your new VFR over on the 8th gen thread. As you will soon discover, red ones are the fastestotstir:. Your VFR looks stunning, but as some of us have found, VFRs are rather top heavy and at low speed they can decide to take a nap without warning. Perhaps no problem for anyone 6ft plus, but it can be too much for smaller riders to stop. Hence you might want to consider fitting some frame sliders to protect those immaculate fairings. When you get a chance you might want to update your forum profile to include the specs of your VFR and your location (Forum Actions+Edit Profile) that way they appear automatically beside your posts. Despite living in the French Alps, I am rather envious of your home territory, with great weather for most of the year and the Estoril circuit and a National park nearby to try out that VFR, I bet you will have lots of fun. Take care SkiMad
Thank you Frame sliders are my top priority before buy anything else. Here is a pic I took today in Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe.
Welcome and congrats on your moto!! What a beautiful photo! You live in and near such beautiful places!
