Does anyone know if the new Givi V35NA side bags will fit on a 1998 VFR800?

If not, which bags will work with a '98?

    Thanks

I have E360's on my '98. I think I remember, but I could be wrong, that the mount for the V35's did not exist for 5th Gen.

I live by the Fairgrounds in Raleigh, if you'd like to look at the E360's on my bike

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'd love to see what they look like in person some time. I just installed the V47 top case with carbon inlay and would
be interested to see how the E360's would match. I live in Cary, not too far from you. Just let me know when you will be around - maybe next weekend?

    Thanks

    Hey Dex

Acoording to the Givi website the V35NA side cases are part of the Monokey side case range and mount with any Monokey side case racks. If you get the proper mounting brackets (the PL257) for the side cases you should be OK. If you are curious what they look like, here is a photo of the E360 side cases mounted along with a Givi E55 Maxia top case. They are mounted using a Givi Wingrack 2 which is no longer available, but would give you an idea as to what they look like. The Wingrack itself is still available but requires the bike specific mounting hardware which Givi no longer sells.
