    2014 VFR800 Flash

I was wondering if anyone had any luck with getting there 2014 VFR800 flashed and what kind of results can be expected? Also does anyone know a good place to get this done? Also do you think it is actually worth it?

Tell the shop your handle and they will probably flash you for nothing. Mad Dog works too sometimes..

Why would you want it flashed?

I hope I am calling it the correct thing. But I was told this could help remove ecu restrictions, help engine braking adj, help fuel injection proportioning, help cooling fan temp, remove top speed limiter and help do a lot of other things.

As far as I was aware the top speed was limited by the gearing.
How can it help cooling fan temp? That is controlled by a bi metallic strip in the sensor and has nothing to do with ecu.

What other restrictions are in place?

The 7th gen forums talk a lot about flashing, but haven't heard anything about 8th gen
