    Hello -

Im having a hard time finding aftermarket foot pegs that fit. Revzilla doesnt have any, and Motorcycle Superstore says the Competition Werkes GP Footpegs will work, but they dont (the bolt holes line up, but the peg direction is unusable).

Does anyone have a good line on foot pegs that work on the 6th gen VFR?

As much as I don't really like shopping there, ebay is stuffed full of them.

Do you want to lower them or just replace stock?

Thanks, I got the lowering mounts from Larry (I assume is the same guy, bls on VFRD?), so I just need the pegs now.

Not really, it looks like amazon and ebay are the only real choices. I was looking for a real shop where I could know the pegs would fit appropriately, sort of let down by MSS

No to Jack the thread, but on the topic, can you buy the pins that thread into the bottom of the OEM foot pegs? And does anyone know the purpose of them? I had a tip over and as a result, the pin busted off and it would be nice to replace it.

while this subject is of interest, I'm looking for stock 5th gen fronts.. I have a mod idea , but don't want to ruin my stock ones....yet. I too have been watching ebay and yes can confirm, they are not at all popular by themselves, folks must keep em when they switch to other styles?

Not sure if they sell them separately but they are like curb feelers, they warn you that your lean angle is getting you closer to the pavement!

Update: looks like you can buy them, @$4 apiece.

I have like a dozen off all, the VFRs I've had. For some reason I've saved them all. weird how that is.

Well that is good news, pzp. I have a set of these ordered to replace one OEM peg that broke off when I crashed. I should have them in a few days time and I'll post any feedback here.

I fitted my new right peg today, and it is a good match for the OEM part. The only visible difference is the curb feeler is a little smaller (and uses a smaller thread so I could not fit the old one) and the weight underneath is riveted on not bolted. I re-used the old spring, didn't like the new one that much.

Unfortunately now I can see that the footpeg mount is badly bent so the peg hangs down, so it is off to Partzilla for a new one (USD67+ freight). Definitely not worth hunting a used part on eBay.

I now see that I could also have ordered just the main OEM body of the footpeg and re-used the rubber/weight/feeler for $14.
