I just installed my new titanium LV pipes. Wow, they look and sound excellent!
I removed the sound spuds of course. A pair of long-nose pliers helped a lot there.

Installing them was easy. I followed the advice I read here in the forums. I kept everything loose, fit it all in place, then started spring-clipping and tightening stuff up. It took a little bit of fine tuning by shifting the connectors around to get the pipes symmetrical.

In all, I'm very pleased. Besides the looks and sound, removing many lbs of dead weight of the stock system was also nice. :)

I'm not usually a fan of aftermarket exhaust, but that looks pretty sharp on your bike. By the way, is that the factory seat or an aftermarket?

Thanks for the compliment. That would be a Sargent seat on there. World of difference over the stocker. http://www.sargentcycle.com/

    Nice!

Don't think they could pick a worse color of blue for their logo though.

And nothing wrong with the reduced weight, better sound and the sexy look of aftermarket.

Yup, first thing I did was peel off the huge stickers off my CF cans. They also come with identical looking metal badges you can rivet on if you REALLY like 'em! LOL

The decals go better with his white model than my red 02 (avatar is my first vtec).

I don't mind the stickers. I suppose because white basically goes with anything. I would prefer it if they were half the size.

It would be nice if LV paid advertising fees to it's customers for being rolling billboards... ;p

Man, that looks 1000 times better than those hideous stock cans. I am not a fan of obnoxiously LOUD exhausts, just exhaust that looks better, and is still within reason on the decibel level.

The sound without the spuds is great IMHO. Loud enough to hear, yet not raspy or ear clenching like many other exhausts out there. I'm sure the V-4 and the fact that you have two cans muffling the sound over the single can setups on many I-4 sportbikes has something to do with it. If you want even less sound, just leave the silencer inserts in.
