Just bought another 85vf700f

Just bought another 85. This one sounds much better and has all the parts on it that I need for really fixing up the first one.

 

Odd question but would you be willing to measure the frame rail distance in front of the motor. Inside inside or outside outside. Either way. I'd like to know how much bigger the 700 motor is from the 500.

What measurements would you like? I have this completely stripped frame that I am about to start sand blasting before painting. I can give you measurements on anything you need.

 

The front behind the radiator is 11 3/4". The top under the tank is 12 9/16". inside to inside.

 

I do have a parts bike. I just completed stripping it. The plan is to rebuild the vf's and sell the 929 cbr.

 

Cool I'll compare it to my frame. Been busy the last few days.

Wands is having bad ideas I can tell. Where do you guys keep getting these bikes from? Wands, why dont you just buy a vf700 if theyre all over like this?

 

Haha. I pick up the new 500 motor tomorrow. But I just love the bike. Paint body is probably 8/10 and I just can't let it go. That 700 does not look any bigger than mine. I was told they don't fit but it looks close.
