Can anyone recommend any particular brand of LED headlights you have used in a 2002 VFR800 US spec?
I have seen different bulb sizes for different years. My understanding is that my bike should use H4's for the low beam and H7's for the high beams. Is this correct?
    TIA
    Rob

I have a Cyclops 3800 lumen bulb in my VTR1000. For brightness and reach, the light is amazing, and for the rider the pattern on hi and low is great, but the bulb does have a lot of "spill" when running on low. If you look at a standard H4 filament bulb, this has a shroud over the underside of the low beam filament, which (due to the wonders of concave mirror optics) causes a hard cutoff of light to the top, which avoids dazzling oncoming drivers.

It looks to me as if the LED bulb makers have moved on as even the Cyclops now has an added low beam shroud. I have a set of these bulbs on the way from China as we speak, which I plan on adding to my ST1100.

Thanks guys! Has anyone found a use for the second filament in the H4 such as a passing light or additional light?
