Heading to Minnesota this weekend to help a friend with a bike. I was going to take my bike, but I got a whole bunch of tools but he doesn't have so I'm taking the truck. They're arranging a bike that I can ride once I get there and get their bike straightened out. I took the seat for my bike so they could try it out on there. They're interested in the saddlemen kit. It's another 6th generation VFR. This will give me a good opportunity to make sure the fixes I made to my truck are good.
Lots of twisty roads around 10,000 lakes. Watch for suicidal deer and mosquitoes as large as deer. From MN myself.
How was the trip? Looks like I'm heading that way in two weeks for a wedding. Family staying home so I'm free to take the bike if weather permits.
Sorta south central. A good hour south of the airport. Probably going to leave Friday afternoon at 1:30 as soon as a meeting adjourns. Get there by 10-11am and hit the road again that night and be home Sunday evening.
