I've been eyeing those, I hoped someone here would pick 'em up. Wave as you pass through Hou, the bikes are actually on my side of town. Heck of a deal on an '06 with 8k miles while you are here. And no, it's not mine, but thinking I might need another one.

The thing that started me down this path was the bike in question has a nice tail piece. The one on my bike is cracked so the swap saves around $300 in repair and paint right off he bat.

Rip those levers look like a direct copy of CRG's.

I got them on eBay. They work great. I bought a pair for my ex 2012 CBR1000RR. They worked great for only $20 shipped. Had no problems and the fit was great.

They are throttlemeisters. Those came with the bike. You can get them anywhere. Amazon, eBay, lots of online motorcycle shops.

Man if they hold up that is a great deal. I had CRG's that look exactly like those on my track bike which also is a Honda 1000 CBR. Still have one on the left side for the clutch but the right side has a Brembo master now. I think they cost about 120.00.

Did a big loop around WV. Rt 33 over to Seneca Rocks, then picked a back route to get to Rt. 250. (I didn't take photos, stole the following from the net)

Glady Rd, very twisty with a rolling landscape.

After that, VFR got turned into a dual sport. Climbed over the mountain on Bemis Rd. Wasn't gravel, more like boulders. Seriously rocks the size of softballs or bigger By the time I got to the top, the bike was around 230 degrees. Turned off the ignition and coasted down the mountain for about ten minutes to the bottom without the engine running. I wouldn't recommend this route, almost ate it a few times, surprised my center stand is still there. Only "traffic" I passed was an ATV.

Sold a set of wheels I used on the CBR 1000 as rain tires for wet track days. There is a set of Michelin Power Pilots on them with 1 track day, buyer only wanted the wheels so I have a sticky set of tires waiting for the VFR. Took the money and bought a Remington 30-06 to replace a near mint Rem Woodsmaster 30-06 I use for eastern hunting. The new rifle is plastic stock that I don't care if it gets scratched up. Shoots sub 1MOA.

Lol. I like 30-06. And 7mm magnum for long distance out west. Got 308 but will have 270 one day. Can't have enough. Been collecting for a long time.

Replaced the oil on my left front fork, due to it appearing to be out of oil, (it wasn't but perhaps low) due to a clunking when I hit bumps. (It's coming from the left front brake; part of the linked brake system. Common it seems.)
So, tossed new fork oil and installed newer... I did find that the damper retainer bolt wasn't tight enough though so all in all, glad I did do this.

The pegs helped a lot. I rode 7 hours, with breaks every 2 hours, and my knees aren't sore. Usually only takes about 3-4 hours before my knees hurt

The lower pegs + air hawk + 1in handle bar risers + crampbuster made it so I'm tired but not sore :)
