Maybe he is now hooked up with Gilda Radner in that great comedy club in the sky. Wilder was great at "meltdowns". A primo example is the first few minutes of "The Producers", in a scene with Zero Mostel.
I thought his most memorable scene (for me) was the shower scene in See no evil, Hear no evil with Joan Severance. sad sad loss...
Truly one of a kind he was! We were so lucky to have him in our lives. I feel a movie marathon coming........just in time for the long weekend.
One of my dad's favorite was 'Stir Crazy' the whole entry into the prison scene had him in stitches. Gene and Richard seemed to have a good chemistry on screen.
