Well. I have seen this day coming for a while now. I was in Vancouver helping out a niece with her ex moving his stuff out of their condo. He is a bit of a dick and has my niece all upset over this thing and me having the background I have, it was only logical that I be there to keep the peace while he moved his stuff. Everything was going fine and he was finally all moved out. Locks changed and that was that.

But. You know. You keep having things running through your mind wondering if you did everything correct. Late afternoon rolled around and it is time for me to head home. It was to be a 1 hour freeway ride.

I was bombing along westbound Hwy#1 in the slow lane of all places. Traffic was semi busy being a Sunday and people either leaving the city and going home out in the sticks, like I was, or returning home from a weekend of boating and drinking at one of the lakes in the interior. And it happened. AS I was approaching 200th St exit in Langley, doing about 120kmh. IT HAPPENED! IT FLIPPED OVER! I got it over to the shoulder of the road and took some photos. This is the second time this thing flipped over on me. First time was a few years ago while on the same freeway but near Abbotsford.

I guess she deserves and oil change tomorrow. Don't you?

Congratulations on your "new" ride, Randy! And custom painted as well.

    Was that 200,000km?

Congratulations on a second flip. This can only mean great maintenance, but a bulletproof engine design. My '05 should flip next year. :)

Damned straight. 200,000 km. I am really surprised that there is not a 7th digit on the odo on these bikes. Next milestone is 200,000 miles. But I don't know if I will live than long.

You got that right. Anality in oil changes at its best. Oil is cheap. Even the stupid expensive stuff at the bike ships is worth paying for longevity of bike life.

Nice job Randy! We still need to get out for our ride. My stator/regulator went about 10 days ago so I'm down for another week until the parts arrive but we still need to get out before the season's up!
