hey guys, my viffer is in about a 100 parts in my garage right now, and i think im about to piss off alot of people by saying/doing this, but im turning my little 86 750f into a full bore naked style streetfighter. im only running the tank and rear fairing pieces (3) and leaving the rest open, its gonna be matte black with red rims (powdercoat) and some accent pieces also in red. the exhaust will be drilled out (!!!) and a few other performance mods are in the process of being completed. i wasent sure when i bought my bike what i was planning on doing, but after stripping the fairings off for the first time it hit me that this bike would look hot naked. the only 2 problems ive got now is a headlight and where to mount the front signals. (im looking for a round style headlight that fits the stock wiring harness/plug, i can make my own bracket, i just want to know whats compatible) and where to mount the signals, im thinking a tab could be made/used on the fairing/signal housing or something simlilar. any ideas on this would really help, of if you just want to bash my plans (or tell me it sounds good) have at'r!

Def do it!!!!! I love street fighters , I know some ppl will be pissed but its your bike not theres. Anyways plastic is just a pain in the a$$!
I have an 87 cbr600 That was wrecked in the front end, that i have street fightered and its sick! no plastic what so ever on it, 7in single round headlight with a larger housing, in the process of finishing my own custom cafe butt stop seat .
Streetfightering/cafein' is really easy fun and cheap !
I think you will find more interested people here http://www.customfighters.com/forums/ they are great forums for all your fighter needs

i ganked the headlight and bucket off of my 81 cm400 and with some slight mods to the stock headlight mount it works great. the pieces of metal that i used to mount it had a couple of holes that worked for bolting the bucket to and had holes that i can mount signals pretty tight into. im thinkin most of the lights off of early 80's honda cruisers would work pretty well and you can get bucket and light pretty cheap on ebay

One Thing You Could Do For The Turn Signals Is Get Those Really Small Lolly Pop Style Ones And Drill The Mounting Hole In The Side Of The Headlight Bucket. I Saw It Done On A Custom Bike Tv Show.
