Too bad they blew it. They definitely were not good businessman. This could have been the next hottest thing. I bet you could buy it all cheap, dissolving it's past. Rename it. Restructure. And make a legit run at it.

Wow. They want a lot of money for something that is no longer going to be supported.

I really like what the Skully AR-1 helmet has to offer. I feel most helmets are way behind in technology.
Skully's web site says there still in business, I might call tomorrow and get the full scoop lol

Every article about Skully says the same thing, they are out of business and filed chapter 7, but their web site is still up and running??

Skulls is gone. I work right across the street from their headquarters in SF and there hasn't been any activity there in over 2 weeks. A bunch of furniture is sitting in their gated parking lot and the surrounding yard is trashed. I'm just waiting for the auction to pick up a new office chair or maybe some shop tools.

There are two per owned skully AR-1 helmets on ebay right now, one is $2,750 and has 4h 19m.

The other is at $2,551 and has 7Days 2Hours.
I just find it amazing that they bring this much. I bet those two brothers are wishing about now that they had of handled things differently now

Yeah, I wonder how many of those bidders are just shills. Who is stupid enough to pay $3000 for this. I guess you'll never go broke underestimating the idiocy of the bidding public.

Exactly. People charge obscene amounts for all sorts of stuff on Ebay that they think has a obscene value due to rarity. Even if those helmets are legit, good luck getting them warrantied if something goes wrong.

Skully is done and over with. Lots of promises that were never delivered on. :bs: Time to let it go.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

No effing way I'd pay that much for a helmet.

To be honest, had I been given one, I'd be trying to sell it asap too.

I think most bidders are thinking they're buying a piece of history or a "collectors item". In a sense, this is true but who knows if the value of these helmets would even be worth what they're paying today, or even gain in value.
