I just brought home my first Interceptor tonight. It's a 2007 VFR800, and it flipped 10,000 miles on the ride home. It's my 11th motorcycle. I plan to add a trunk, new tires, and a ST windshield in the near future. Just saying hi!

Welcome to The World! As Duccmann said, the GIVI trunks are nice. I have the 55L model and you can almost store a decent sized dead hooker in one. At the very least I can get two full face helmets in there.

duccmann, any issues with front end wobble with the trunk. I'm looking to go to a setup like in your picture, but I read a post about trunks lightening the front creating wobble. Just curious if it's really an issue.

Welcome to the MadHouse from the far side of the pond :welcome: .

Congratulations on adding a photo with your first post - I may be biased when I say its a very nice looking bike - and of course you will soon discover that red ones are the fastest:potstir:.

As for the trunk - it is no issue if you don't carry too many trays of beer! In strong winds a trunk can act a bit like a sail at times but it provides the pillion with a decent backrest, and is probably big enough to carry enough gear for a weekend away. If you really need to carry heavy items then panniers are probably the best choice as it would keep the extra weight low down and further forward.

    Take care ATGATT

Good info on the trunk. Thanks. I'm a noob on here, but I've been on various car and motorcycle forums for years. I can post photos because my wife says I'm smarter than I look. :numbness: So I have that going for me.
