Buying Advice -  VFR800

Hi All,

I am considering buying a late model VFR800 (2001) and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what I should be checking out?

Or is there an FAQ on this anywhere?

Hope the bike is right ...I love them ...
First check the everyday things .
TIRES, Brakes , and if the R/R has every been replaced.
There is a 50/50 chance it will have to .
Whats the miles?
Has it had any service.
PLugs , chain ,oil changed....and Anti Freeze..etc.

I have 12,000 on my ride and its also due for a chain.
the guy before me had never changed the tires,brakes since there are only two, make sure they are in good shape.

Other then that the R/R ,stator are the main problem areas for a VFR...GOOD LUCK...
