long story short. my 92 vfr750 intermittently drops spark between 4-6k usually just for a second or two. i was out for 300 odd miles yesterday and it happened maybe 10 times. it was a sharp cut of power for a few revs and then it just fires right back up and goes, occasionally with a pop from the unburnt gas. Charging voltage is 14v, it has a retrofitted regulator rectifier, other than that its all stock aside from a usb charging port. any idea where to start looking? https://goo.gl/photos/cjBc89yh6knNEqsAA
Alright, it's not the ignition switch, is not the run switch, I assume the ignition computer is fine. Where else should I look?
Intermittent faults are a bitch to find, could be one of so many things even an ignition wire which is burning out inside so you can't see it, got caught with one of those last week, it's working,it's not,it's working again
yeah. i need to get the bike started and go wiggling wires under the seat until i find the loose connection.
