How many times have I heard that question? But NEVER from my wife!! Read on...

After riding Yamaha cruisers for 25 years, I fell in love with the '14 VFR and bought the Ferrari red one. I love it for all the reasons you do.

I turn 68 in a month. I hope you are on a VFR 18 years from now. As I hope I am on one 18 years from now too.

By the way, my wife bought it for me. She loves the colour.

Good to see that there's a collection of us ancient Dudes and Dudettes riding VFR's. Ride safely, friends.

    Hi,

I just bought my first VFR (low mileage 5th Gen) and I will turn 67 in two months. Age is only a number - you're as old as you feel.

53 years old, ridden just about everything and have just bought my first VFR750, a Gen 4 '95 model. Hands down one of the most comfortable bikes I've ever had the pleasure of planting my arse on, even with all the associated age-related aches and pains, lack of flexibility, all that ;) and my wife, who's in her mid forties agrees.. should have bought one years ago and don't really see myself riding anything else now. They're just a bit too good at doing everything NOT to ride, and let's face it.. put on your sunnies, slam down that visor and as long as you're not built like Monty Burns no-one's ever gonna know how old you are anyway. :)
