wiring connector ID 03'

can anyone tell me what this spare plug is for brown and green wires... its taped into the loom up to the fuse box on the right hand side

 

Its a diagnostic connector. You install a jumper wire from one pin to the other. Bike in neutral, jumper wire in place, w/ key on & engine off. FI light will flash in sequence to correspond with any fault codes.
