I know the White one was offered in 2010. Was this offered in the U.S.? I would say no, because of the cowling saying VFR, but being naïve and new to this bike and owning the Suzuki sv1000s during that time I would not have known. I love that color scheme. A bitch to clean! ;-) The second I could not find other than the photo. Killer looking bike. Does anyone know is this is a custom or a production bike? I love the metallic red and look of the second. Damn, GOOD LOOKING.;-)

The white was a standard scheme over here in the last couple of years of the 6th gen. I agree about cleaning, after two CBR600s I'll never have white wheels again! I think you had the blue/white/red instead, one that we looked on enviously.

The other is no VFR I've ever seen.

The 6th gen in the US was only produced from 2002 to 2009. It continued in the rest of the world through 2013. White only came on 2006 (all white, not like your pic). 2007 was Candy Glory Red (best red ever made!) 2008 was black. 2009 was silver. That red/black one you posted isn't even a VFR...look at the headlight, tail, exhaust...(probably a photoshopped pic). The white/black you posted was common on the later years in Canada and Europe.

The 09 was actually all black. The frame too. The 07 also came in the infamous RWB color scheme also with a black frame.

bubba, you will get many different/conflicting answers because Europe,
Canada and the U.S.A. didn't always get the same colours in the same years…the white with black that you pictured above was available in Canada for the 09 model year, mine is a 05' Silver(not grey, grey is darker) the Candy red is gorgeous and there also was a dark metallic blue that was available in Europe only…also you may find pics of VFR's with gold coloured wheels, i believe they were europe only too (i may be mistaken tho)

So I had the 08 and 09 backwards...08 was silver, 09 was black (regular gloss, not the rare flat asphalt black of 04)

Ok, I think I can make a correct list for the US market of 6th gen VFR800 colors. (Officially it's an Interceptor in the US).

2002 - Classic Honda Red (might have been called 'racing red') With black wheels and silver frame.
2003 - Same red with black wheels/silver frame as 02, plus silver with black wheels/silver frame.
2004 - Same red but with gunmetal (grey) wheels/silver frame, plus flat asphalt black with black wheels/silver frame.
2005 - Same red with grey wheels/silver frame, plus silver with grey wheels/silver frame.
2006 - Pearl white with grey wheels/silver frame, plus pearl black with grey wheels/silver frame.
2007 - Candy glory red (darker, with metallic) with grey wheels/silver frame, plus Red/White/Blue anniversary with black wheels/black frame.
2008 - Darker metallic silver than 03 and 05 with grey wheels/silver frame.
2009 - Gloss black with black wheels/black frame.

I checked multiple sources, so this should be pretty accurate.
Also, in case you didn't already know, 2006 was the year for some minor updates, with the most visible change being the clear turn signal lenses front and rear.

The others are all red. Except for the 00, which in the U.S. is, in fact, yeller. And white if you're talking about the 8th gens.

Let's just leave out the 12s, OK.

And let's forget all the years before 97 in the U.S. as well, cause I've had too much to drink to list all the VFR and VF colors.

Staring with the basic current run of vfrs, as the 86 was a whole different breed back then an we all know what they looked like right?

90 red with white rims, Gray seat,
91 also red with off gold rims, black seat
92 was a metallic black, silver rims
93 the infamous white, white rims
    94-97 yea we know, RED

I agree with you on the Candy Glory Red! Damn I wished that Honda USA would have gone to a metallic red on the 2014! Flat colors show way to much as far as scratches. I see the dealer wash marks on my paint being brand new. Oh well, she will be scratched eventually!;-) Love Metallic reds that are not to close to burgundy red! Thank you again for the info!

Thank you for that because most of the pictures that I get of all of the models and years I see more offerings that I like in the Canadian and European bikes. I swear I say a picture of a metallic green on one. But that may have been the lighting of the photo or the Blue? Thank you anyway.

As far as I know there was never a metallic green 6th gen in Europe, only a 5th gen in 2000 (I think).

May we conclude this is not a subject for global motorcycle trivia?
