.. in the form of a 98 VFR!

Didn't really get to have a photoshoot but I snapped a quick pic here:

    IMG_2145.jpg

It's currently at my buddy's house as he's helping me flush and replace all the fluids. I need to do the R/R upgrade. is Rick's (~$150) my cheapest way to go? EMGO's also seem to be a popular mirror replacement option..

Anyway, glad to be a part of the community now! :eagerness:

Roadster cycle offers comparable priced kits. http://www.roadstercycle.com/ and is recommended by numerous folks here. He'll also have the latest and greatest from Shindengen if you want to drop even more coin.

Rick's "hot shot" or whatever they're calling the MOSFET upgrade is a straight bolt on to the factory location. Mine has 40K and counting on it.

On the RR, I'd pick up a FH020AA from a late model R1, directly connect it to the stator and battery and call it good. I picked up a used 20AA RR on Ebay for $40.00. Search this site or VFRDiscussion for how-to's on the rectifier swap.

Nice and if you happen to get this for around the $3k mark I'm surprised the law didn't follow you home.

Thanks everyone for the replies! Bike's still at my friend's place but I'll get some more pics when she's fixed up and ready :) as luck would have it the r/r died when he was testing it after he changed the fluids LOL

@RVFR I actually got it under $3k.. it has been dropped though but my buddy and I confirmed that the damage was all cosmetic before I pulled the trigger
