    Hey folks,

Stacey(my black 5th gen)'s rotors are apparently at their service limit, they've got a wobble to em. Time for new ones. So...

As mentioned before, options here in Germany are limited to parts that have the magic stamp-of-legality for road use, and in my case that leaves Honda, TRW and Brembo.

Anyone have experience with TRW or Brembo rotors as an OEM replacement? Do they perform as well as Honda pieces?

Thanks, folks! And yes, just so it's mentioned, I plan to replace the pads as well, even though I put real Honda pads in about 5500 km ago. Bloody expensive beer coasters, now...

How many miles are on them?

You may want to check out the thread about cleaning the brake bobbins. Doing that could bring your brakes back to life...

Again our forum comes thru with shining colors, I had no idea those little parts could be maintained. Stacey does seem to have too few miles (about 22k) to have warped rotors, but the previous owner had boned up a couple other things that I've since corrected, so I had chalked it up to the said PO having ridden them like a granny. Thanks for the info, guys! I'll be checking this first!

    Thanks again!

Neither did I until I saw that thread, but I saw it too late since I had already purchased some Galfer Wave knock off's. Never got to try it, but others have reported favorable results.

Be sure to post up how yours turned out!

    Happy riding!

Holy crap, I'm actually excited to try this when I get home. If this simple fix remedies the brake pulsation I feel, that'll make me pretty excited. Thank you!

    Hey folks,

This very simple maintenance item really does help!! The bobbins on Stacey weren't even that gummy, they all already moved pretty freely, but every bit helps, obviously. It isn't as if she suddenly brakes like an R1 now, but there is a noticable improvement, both stopping power and lever feel. I feel just the tiniest bit of rotor wobble now, which I assume is actual wobble caused by the offset, which should eventually smooth out again. Thanks guys!!

There is still a chassis shudder that I'm trying to track down, but I'll make that another thread after I've checked further.
