Finally got some fresh rubber for the VF1000F

Avon RoadRider with some new paint for the wheels. Also took care if some wiring I wanted to do. USB port for the tank bag, a switch to override the fuel cut relay, and finally a switch for the fan (this bike never ran hot at all, but I'm already wiring).



Next is some upholstery. I have a brand new seat pan and foam that will get a blue front and a white rear section. The nice original seat is hanging in the shop, this slightly re-worked VF700F seat is temporary.

Test ride good! Can't wait to hit Snohomish valley.

 

Watch for cops on the lowell River Roar.

If I make it to Washington State, could I come and look at your bikes? They're hot. Still like the first Gen. bikes the best.

 

Might have to try and have a small VFR World beer and brat night.
