Thinking of buying a 1993 VFR 750 F

    I am considering buying a 1993 VFR, its done 100.000 km (62.000 miles) shud i be on the lookout for any common problems or anything special?

    pull seat off, look on the right side of the bike where the imfamous r/r is, if you can remove rear side covers, that will give you a good birds-eye-view of the condition of the plug (when you unplug it) the owner may have up-graded the r/r already though. Near the battery is your 30 amp starter relay, those sometimes burn out, on the right side of the bike, if you can remove the mid-fairing, (pretty easy with the 1/4 turn d-zus fasteners) and check out the three yellow plug, thats the stator wire that goes to the r/r via harness, these sometimes burn out, if they do, and any of the wires touch, its curtains for the stator. Other than that, condition condition condition. Keep us posted
