Thought it was a great race and much enjoyed the Rossi V Marquez battle, regards to the crash while not desputing it was mostly Iannones fault Lorenzo should acknowledge his obvious slowing added to the crash as Iannones telemetry indicating his speed and braking point were the same as previous laps so it is possible that the unexpected difference in closing speed played a part ?

    TT 2016

Ian Hutchinson took his 12th TT win on Monday morning when he dominated the Monster Energy Supersport race from start to finish. The CAME BPT Yamaha rider defeated Michael Dunlop by 14.3s in a race-record winning time with Silicone Engineering rider Dean Harrison taking third.

Hutchinson signalled his intentions from the off and by Glen Helen on the opening lap, he’d already opened up a three-second lead over Harrison with Dunlop a further tenth back in third as James Hillier, Lee Johnston and John McGuinness completed the top six. Michael Rutter was reported out at Ballacraine though with Peter Hickman stopping at Greeba making adjustments and eventually retiring on the opening lap.

On a somewhat sour note, Michael Dunlop was stripped of 2nd place after a post race engine strip revealed the engine he'd bought of Martrain still had the 2014 legal cam follower buckets in it, not legal for 2016 .....

    Suter Update:

it only managed 1 lap of the Superbike race, at a lowly 116mph, no other news at this point

SPEND 16mins 58 seconds viewing the fastest ever lap of the TT, Michael Dunlop on Saturday

The video from the lap record really shows how rough some of the roads are with the placement of the camera. Just insane.

    Thanks John.

Interviewed after the Superbike race Michael said he only went as fast as he needed to, once he caught JMcG and Hutchy on the road he eased off and "cruised the last few laps" his times show he dropped from 133+ on the first 2 laps to a mere 128mph, he was adamant that he had 134 or 135 in him if needed

Hutchy has sorted his slow first sector time out and it showed in the Superstock, which he won after Michaels gear linkage fell apart

Bruce Anstey fell off the Padgett Fireblade in practice and is only just starting to put in decent times, (Wednesday) he was somewhat battered about when he rode the RCV to 8th place in the Superbike race, not sure if he's racing it in the Senior TT

Don't forget to turn the sound up when you watch the videos

Funny how MotoAmerica on bINsports has the title of every race
Honda Superbike Showdown, with not one Honda in the series. ...
Oh, never mind...right after my post saw a cbr600 H35 supersport, one of only two Hondas in the field...........

    TT 2016

Fridays Senior race proved to be a 2 way battle between Hutchy and Michael Dunlop, Hutchy made the mistake of choosing his Superstock motor as he found it more manageable, Michael chose the maximum power option, his second lap was 133.99mph, 16m 52.4s, he won the race

JMcG was first away on the Fireblade, noticeably underpowered, he reckoned he was giving away around 30bhp to everyone else, Hutchy was 4th away and set an excellent first sector time, Michael was 6th away, he was noticeably more aggressive and pulled out a 2 second lead by 1/2 distance on the first lap, which he continued to extend each lap

Any hope Hutchy had was shot down by 2 slow pit stops, giving 5 seconds away each stop, JMcG was quickest in and out, Dunlop just behind him

Hutchy caught up John and was leading on the road when Michael caught up enough to see both of them ahead of him, so he cruised the rest of the race

Hutchy did John a favour by leading him around the course, something John had said he'd do was hang on to anyone who overtook him, they finished in that order, Michael, Hutchy and JMcG .... great racing by all

The Suter managed to finish this time, although it only made 5 laps, still better than expected following Monday

The RCV213 was out again, Bruce Anstey gave it his best, which unfortunately not as good as was needed, finishing 5th behind Dean Harrison on a Kawasaki, the youngster taking a solid 4th after a great week of racing that saw him on the podium with 2 seconds and a third place

The TT zero became a farce when the much vaunted Sarolea team, after putting no practice in, wheels 2 bikes to the parc ferme then withdrew them 20 minutes before the race

JMcG managed to switch his Mugen off, but a spectator noticed what he'd done and he was off again ..... only 7 bikes in the one lap 'race', which Anstey on the other Mugen won easily, only 5 bikes finished ..... William Dunlop on the VICTORY was 2nd

Rea is just having his way, double win. How about PJ?! Led the entire race and lost 2 spots in the last laps. Tires were shagged. Sofuoglu is really smooth and saved his tires to take the win. The Super Stock race was insane, Derosa really pulled a bone head move in the second to last corner!

Yes it was very good, Rea really did well in the first race, his riding style made the overtake on Sykes look so simple in the first race, the second one he'd got his braking points and corner speed perfect..... as usual

Davies was impressive clawing his way back up to 4th from that poor start in the 1st race

I'm always really impressed with those Kawasakis, both Rea and Sykes run the so hard and I can only recall one engine blowout when Rea blew his motor
