I've asked a few people about this issue and have gotten a lot of different responses. Once I get it running and ride a while it starts up with the button on 1st or 2nd try. But it's progressively gotten worse, and now it seems every morning I hear the noises in the video.

    -1992 Honda VFR750

    -Have tried 2 batteries
    -Battery is connected tight.
-I haven't seen any corrosion on any connector's I've seen throughout the bike. But will check again if needed.

Mike the video link doesn't work (says it is private) so I doubt you'll get any helpful responses.

It's a month since you posted. I'm surprised nobody responded with suggestions.
Have you found out what was wrong?

Turned out to be the common starter clutch issue. It had like three huge cracks.
