Picnic today. Even our lakes are flat. Lol
I seem to attract all the insects.

Unfortunately I moved both aside and took the Duc for a ride to 'Top of The World' down in Laguna Beach. Not as great of a ride as the one I had planned that got rained out but enough to get out and put some miles on the new tires and DMr suspension. I think she likes her new Italian shoes and I rather like the new suspenders!

I need to figure out how to tap the dust cap down better while it's still on the bike. Not much room. I may have actually fixed it tho, I rode it today and I didn't really see any oil, so I'll get it all cleaned up and then ride it more while keeping an eye on it.

    Wow Ann Marie
You really are packed up, my wife wants to know just how many shoes you have packed ha ha
We are heading from Sydney down to Melbourne and then the ferry over to Tasmania and tour around for a week or so then back to Sydney... Hope our butts can cope (new bike so no problems there) have a great time on your trip, ride safe Ann Marie

I know I have only done about 500 k's on the new vfr1200 and am loving it even more than I thought I would... It's a fantastic bike but I would like a louder slip on and decided to look into making one myself. I work in a stainless steel fabrication workshop and using some scrap I have started to fab one. I am not sure what to put in as packing I do have some ceramic insulation but some suggest s/s wool which I also have (any suggestions)
The muffler i fabed from 50mm s/s tube, I rolled some s/s punched sheet to fit over the 50mm tube and used 100mm tube for the can, our machinest made me up an end cap out of s/s billet so I can remove it to repack ... Not sure that it will all turn out to sound awesome or that I will even like it but will keep a running commentary

Sorry I am trying to add photos but don't know how ???

That's so awesome, Terry! Will be amazing to see your photos! I was just talking with a guy yesterday who said riding in your parts is such a privilege! Have a safe and fun time, and I'm sure your tocks will make it. :)

Haha, tell her two. Tennis shoes and riding boots for rainy days. I'll wear my lace ups most of the time. :)

There is a tiny button on the tool bar right above where you type your message. I believe it's a bluish square. Click it, and from there you should be able to upload an image. I'm on my cell phone or else I'd be able to screen shot it. :/
