I hope this is not a conspiracy to sell fire extinguishers to dudes who use cheap radiators that cause bikes to catch fire.

honestly most ebay and autoparts store parts come from the same place that the OEM parts come from.. i use to work for UPS years ago in a warehouse just outside one of the vendors who sold radiators wholesale in North Carolina... they would have giant shipping containers come in and the warehouse would rebox the units with a Ford Racing box on some of them while others just kept their china box and other were tossed in boxes for advance auto parts and autozone... one day while picking up a whole truck full of radiators going out for shipping to people around USA, i asked him why they were taking the radiators out of the boxes on one section of the warehouse and he said that they are reboxing them for dealership inventory, because it was cheaper to order them and then rebox later based on the company purchasing them for inventory........ just a fyi.... i ended up picking up a radiator from the same guy one day when my truck needed one for $10, apparently the production cost on the unit was around $9 to the company...

Storx, I think that pretty much sums up the way of the world, some countries spend more on the packaging to make it look like the real deal than the actual product costs

Thanks for the replies. Has anyone ever repaired on? It looks like a small hold. but its literally square in the middle of the thing.

I wouldnt mind going with a non-OEM radiator if people have had good luck with them? Since its the side with the fan, Id be worried about fitment with everything buttoned back up and the fairings on.

1/2 price is hard to argue, but if I have to do it twice Id rather just go OEM.
