1987 VFR 700 - whats it worth?

Hi all,
Just picked up a 1987 VFR700 from a barn up here in sunny Vermont.
It is a non runner but complete, has probably not be used for 20yrs and has had a light crunch, scuffed panels and seat but apart from that looks really good actually.
I do not have the mechanical ability to get it going so I am considering selling it but I have no idea how much to ask.
18K, slight scuffs and a missing small rear panel. Apart from that looks to be in good shape, engine turns when I push it along.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If it is not running but otherwise good shape I'd say about $1000. If it is running I think $1500-1800 would be reasonable.

 

dEPENDS UPON HOW MANY AND HOW BAD SCRATCHES AND DENTS ARE, but less than $2000 even if it's running. These bikes are seriously undervalued in the marketplace. :distress:

 

I am a little tempted to try to restore it but I know that really, after 20yrs, everything would need to be striped, cleaned and rebuilt.
