Is there a nut you loosen or some sort of c-spring clip holding the adjustor at the bottom. I want to take it off and wind it up so I can lower the foot petal into a more comfortable position. Thanks anyone Allan

Hi Allan. Welcome to the group. Just loosen the locking nut on the threaded rod on the back of the pedal. Then turn the rod, or if you can, the lower nut, and you will be able to raise or lower the pedal height. Not sure if this is the same for all years of VFR's, but that's how it was on my 93.

Thanks for the reply and I am sorry I forgot to mention my VFR is a 2005 model. It seems to have a lock preventing any movement. First you have to remove the lock and then your instructions apply. I will get a mirror and have a look at exactly what is there. By the way check out the latest issue of Cycle World they compare the only two 800's on the market, the VFR and the BMW f800. The VFR comes out looking pretty good. Thanks again Allan
