Ok so yesterday i noticed a loss of power under wot in every gear. If I drop it back to say 90%-95% it picks back up quite a bit of power but still not what it should be. The loss is throughout the rpm range and slowly gets worse the higher the rpms go. I thought I had some bad gas so I filled it this morning and added bg 44k. Rode it about 15 miles with zero change. Any suggestions on where to start?

Check your air box. I had similar symptoms last year. Pulled the cover and it was packed with pink insulation from a mouse nest. Little Fooker had a fully furnished condo in there. Good luck.

Milage is unknown due to nothing on the dash working... has a back light but no display. Plugs were changed when I bought it 2 years ago.

Ok so lifted tank to do back plugs and found a huge pink insulation nest... pulled all that out and tested... still no power. Pulled 4 plugs only to find perfectly gapped ngk iridium plugs that look very normal. Replaced them anyhow with brand new 8.5mm gapped ngk plugs and tested... no power... now im about to just take it to honda...

Plugs and cleaned the nest from the airbox and washed k&n filter... even cleaned the intakes and throttle plates. Nothing changed...

Thanks. The bike appears to be in very good shape yes?

So for clarification, did this problem just start? You have been revving the bike for a while but the problem just began? Or you just noticed it now?

What kind of maintenance and testing have you done on this bike? The reason I ask is that the gambit of problems would seem to be widening here. Perhaps the charging system is not keeping up, so test the voltages at idle and 5,000 rpm. After running it hard open the gas tank. Is there a vacuum "whoosh"? That would indicate fuel being held back due to a blocked vacuum hose. The rate of the fuel pump could be a concern. Clean the grounds to make sure potential on the ground side is not building up when pushing it hard. I don't know I'm just chucking stuff at the wall right now to see what sticks.
