    Am I going mad ???

Putting my seat back and it just doesn't look like it's fitting right. It's slides straight in and clicks into place perfectly but there seems to be a large gap from fairings to the seat and from the fuel tank too. Are they all like this??

Mine is exactly like this. When I first purchased the bike, it drove me nuts. The gap isn't as noticeable under the pillion because of the cowl. But up at the fuel tank it is noticeable.

I don't have close pictures, but zooming in on this may help you see mine.

Thanks Anne marie. It's strangely frustrating and looks like it just wants to be flush. But if there all like that so be it. Thanks for your input.
Nice ride too. I like the white....

On the 2005 I owned, the seat fit like that in back, but flush in front. Is it an aftermarket seat?

Pretty sure it's standard from the look of it.

And the space between the fuel tank and the seat was perfect for no hassle space for tank bag straps. Yes, I'm partial to strapped tank bag mounts. ;)
