I have a pile of left and right wing Honda stickers - actually, transfer decals, where the decal is without a backing. Looks like a painted logo when applied to a surface. Picked them up in Japan, they're common in motorcycle shops there. You should easily be able to buy one on line. Just paint over the faulty part and apply a correct logo.

This is nothing short of a disgrace. We need to get the FBI and interpol involved. We should organise a lynch party and deal with this straight away. The gall of these Teutons, let's show them not to mess with VFR owners.

No issue of quality and detail is a waste of time.

Thurn is a big, reputable (as far as I knew) company. For sure it was simply an oversight at the design and approval stage.

Some people have higher standards than others. Some overlook little mistakes. Others will see the little mistake and, from then on, that is all they will see. Those people have higher standards than others and that is perfectly OK. It looks like the original poster and I are on the same page.

Those of you who would happily tolerate (or not notice) the mistake have no justification for slagging the OP when he was pointing out a shortcoming by a major supplier. Are you as narrow minded in real life as you are in your anonymous internet life?

    Cheers,
    Glenn

It's called choosing your battles. If you try and fight every little skirmish in life there will be no time for anything else. We are talking about a few dollars here, not hundreds. Put it in perspective and move on.

Wasn't my intent to 'slag' anyone, maybe my observation should have been applied to the internet as a whole.

Microscopic scrutiny of items that have no impact on the overall functionality of the machine should fall under 'luxury' concerns.

That humor is obviously lost on some...

And I actually agree, it's backwards.

    On with the Crusade!

I will join thee once I discover fire, and get my caveman torch lit.

Your post was not the only one that I that I thought was sort of dismissing a legitimate issue - no matter how big or small that issue may be for any particular individual. Maybe smileys DO have a place in highlighting humour on the internet after all. :biggrin-new: See?

    Cheers,
Glenn (with a dry sense of humour)
