Anyone know what's happened to VFRD ?

It's a Slammer site for sure. I understand it's under his scrutiny , I get it, but come on, it is just run a bit to tight for me. Still, love the guys and and all. one can't really get enough VFR info exchanging. Though it is interesting all the double posts here and there or vise versa.

 

I just hope most of the info was saved. I remember finding cam profile info for stock rc46, as well as rc45 rc30 and rc30 race. Thought that info would be great to use if I ever get my cams reground, which I'd like to do...

Knowing Miguel, he hasn't gotten much sleep lately. VFRD is a hackers playground so no telling what happened. It's happened many times and he will get it back up in time.

 

Getting it up may be a psychological problem with Miguel. This other site could be being hacked because somebody is getting down with Miguel.

Might Miguel be SOW?

 

Vendors are always hitting him up for ads but he won't do that. He wants it non-profit only. Good for him.

 

OTOH he may be in it for the power trip and is a closet control freak.

I think I figured it out. Their server crashed because the mods overloaded the server issuing too many "warning points" to people who were making posts that were hurting the feelings of other forum members.

 

This is hardly the place for that. Maybe the other site will be back on line soon.

He purged the site recently. I forget his retention rule but everything over X years is gone. What a waste. I found some useful topics via google but when I hit the site they were gone so I have all ready been hit by it. Do you know the 5th gen info that I could use that has come and probably gone twice?
