Found this baby on CL for $2300 USD. Bought her from a Sweedish guy who bought her from a guy in North Carolina who bought it from a guy in California. I have had her for less than a week and already over 1K miles on it. Had some burned wires at the R/R 130 miles from home. Left me with a dead battery and a fried R/R, I thought. Picked her back up with a truck/trailer and brought her home, repaired the wires, tested the R/R which tested good and put her back together. So far, from testing, no charging issues currently. Here are a few pictures.

The chances that the R/R will crap oot on your bike are high. Never had a stator problem on my 91. There are several fixes for the R/R problem in the archive of all VFR forums. Even one of those 12.95 peso Chinese made R/Rs carried under the seat can save you big pesos.

I hope the "true believers" are not put off by the removal of the vinyl graphics on your fairing.. ;)
