Because you man whores don't want to wear your condoms and have inquired if the 5 Gen and 6 Gen mirrors are interchangeable (if not her, elsewhere I'm sure), I have done a little experiment for you (Thank RVFR for this). I have put a 6 Gen mirror, sans mount, onto a 5 Gen mirror mount. I also took some measurements with my handy dandy, trusty dusty Harbor Freight digital caliper. Here are the photos and info for you. Long story short, although the mounts are different (50mm vs. 40mm mount hole center to center; 5 Gen vs 6 Gen) the mirror stalks will work going from 6 Gen to 5 Gen. Note that I used the washers from the 6 Gen when mounting to the 5 Gen mount.

I bought Emedco mirrors, but the pivot bolt started rusting. So I bought the Honda bolt. Fit like a glove and no rust.
