Went to my buddy's place to watch MotoGP Sunday, and he pulled out the old 85 model VFR500 to take some pictures next to my newly acquired 07 Anniversary Edition. The shades of blue & red look to be a pretty close match and the family lineage is unmistakable. He currently isn't riding his bike much, but I'm trying to talk him into getting it back to road ready condition. Hopefully, he'll see fit to ride to Barber for the MotoAmerica races in June.

BTW, I have to correct you, it is a VF500, not a VFR500. Squirelman got all huffy at me once for just using that name as an example to someone I was trying to help fill in his bike info. Lol

Anyway, that is one nice looking 500! Your bike isn't bad either.

Uh Oh...Have I committed an unforgivable VFRWorld faux pas? My sincerest apologies to the infinite wisdom of all Interceptor devotees who came before me. Thank you for correcting my mistake before it had a chance to infect the rest of the internet like a zombie plague...:playful:

My bud says the 500 needs new tires, brakes, and an oil change. But his main bike is an 07 600RR and he just never gets around to getting the 500 ready.

    What a shame.
