Agreed....it feels like a different animal after the tune. Pulls much harder. Smoother. Getting to 100mph is effortless.

Pretty simple actually, it's called running at a higher rate of efficiency.

I like the look of all this. Smooth out the bottom end, increase power throughout, and increased fuel economy. Now to just get my bike from NY to WA....

Peak numbers are cool but FAT curves over a big rpm range is where it really counts. Nice tune.

    I agree.
Its nice to have it up top, but 6K to 9K is what I like.
That's where my bike mostly lives, and the torque figures are nearly flat there.

I got a chance to be on the track with him and that bike (or another trick Hawk he built?) a few years back (around 2000?). It was very cool. We got stopped on the track right next to each other during a red flag situation. I knew who it was instantly. We were both silently checking out each other's bike. I'll have to say it felt pretty cool to have him give a double-take and check out my VF500F some more.

I know what mine sounds like in my garage, in a big warehouse like that..... I'm sure it put a smile on your face. Last year I put a full Ti system on my CBR track bike. I could not resist cranking it up before I put the can on. Hurt my ears but made me walk funny.

That was sweet, crazy how our vfr's take on a whole other set of tunes up in the +10,000rpm , its like a different machine, Dr. Jeckel Mr. Hyde going on after this tune, it even has a different sound all through the rpm range, more of a snap crackle bite to it. I'll have to try out my go pro skills and see if I can get it.
