If your HP went from roughly 100 to 107, that would be a 7% increase which isn't too shabby either way, enjoy!

Your right, in a more useable part of the curve, I was just looking at your text, not the graph, not a bad investment.

How much increased HP would a dude need if he came in at 350lbs as opposed to a dude of say 175lbs. This could be expressed not only in as percentage but in metrics . Maybe not stone which is one I never could get wrapped around. I get barleycorns and rods and I really like the Stones.

Another question if allowed? Is this rear wheel HP or is there some fudging going on?

That mark could be several things. It could be a booger or a leaky ballpoint pen or a mote or some shit the OP just tossed in for fun or it could be where the rev limiter kicked in.

I hope the OP didn't get stuck with too big a nut to cover on the dyno run part. Many of those "dynos" are portable and trailer mount rigs that go from bike gig to bike gig for the shootoot dudes for five pesos a throw.

My clutch was slipping at high speeds so I had them put a new clutch in, after the dyno run. Honda refined the clutch for the 5th generation bikes (might be the same part also for later models), by making it a little beefier.

    Who knows.....

The difference in the way the bike pulls from 4000 very noticeable. The acceleration is much smoother. It certainly feels like another 10HP+.

It was tuned at Brothers Powersports in Bremerton, by Mike Velasco.

Jay's bike put up 112hp and 60torque.....only differences between our bikes is a K&N filter, and his bike has double the miles.

Just goes to show that milage on these bikes is rarely a factor with performance.

One thing that I noticed when looking them both over, we all know cooler air is denser right? when mine was ran it was 53 degrees, it's 66 with Ashs, is that enough to make it that much of a difference? same tuner, same dyno same mind set, but I have a K-N ok what ever. ;0 yes he had a clutch issue, still, one used Shell 92 super I use Chevron with techron ;) are we splitting hairs yet? all I know now after a 60 mile run around, this morning was Man O man does this Viffer love to pull, so smooth too with a more bit whip to the sound too. that and it's really happy at 5200 SWEET!

SOW probably thinks Mike Velasco is a cat breeder and to get to Bremerton, one must take a fairy ride..

Hot air is less dense but far more prevalent.

Don't know what to tell you. I had the plugs changed, new OEM air filter and an oil change before the dyno pull.

I am sure the plugs had something to do with it.
