passenger peg same size as rider pegs???

I did some search, but did not find a discussion on the following.

Will replacement rider pegs fit for the passenger pegs or is there a difference that prevents me from using the same pegs in both spots?

Depending on what version you have. 3rd. 4th, 5th, 6th? on the 4th other than the return spring they seem and look to be the same, on 5th gens they are two totally different animals, I've been trying to get the passenger ones to fit the riders. so far not a lot of luck. Now I check you have a 1200, no help there sorry

 

It is a 2012 VFR 1200. I should have put that in the original post.
