Nothing left of the old one.
But will have to work something out if this isn't a go! [DLMURL]http://www.remarcables.com.au/Motorc...et-Flexible-Ex[/DLMURL]
Used used an old number plate and Selley's 401 to fix the rusted collector box on a previous vfr I owned but this bikes is 2 good for that sort of bodged up repair.

The gaskets just one of those donut things right? Take one end of the joint down to your local auto parts shops and root through their supply. You'll probably find something generic close enough that you can then whittle down a bit and seal up.

Just to update these work really well.
They don't look anything like right but squish up under pressure and seal perfectly.
I took the springs off and fitted shorter bolts to get a good crush and then fitted the original bolts and springs .

Nice job sourcing those, I have an interest in these bikes so I follow threads regarding them. I never had an issue with these gaskets on any of my gen 3 bikes, I did win an auction for a slip on pipe which had the original one stuck in the pipe, I ended up chiseling it out and stuck it in the attic as it sucked (you can't always win on ebay auctions.) I ended up using some springs off it though :mech: Waiting to take my 91 out a little ride but dont wana get caught in the rain on my day off with it :loco: 93 gets more regular use as I go to work on it once or twice a week. Cheers
