Does anyone know of a 30mm slave cylinder that will bolt on to a 3rd/4th gen VFR? I know many CBR and RC bikes have the same bolt pattern but am finding it tough to get actual measurements from them.

I am using a Brembo radial master cylinder from a Ducati 848 Evo, but it just barely moves the clutch enough to disengage at full compression. The Ducs used 28mm and 30mm slaves, but the 35mm VFR slave is just slightly too large to properly disengage the clutch.

I have doubts about finding a different slave... any particular performance advantage you hope to gain?

I'm guessing you have a radial brake and want to have a matched pair?

I had to convert to radial MC's due to the shape of the riser bars I am using not having clearance for the original "coffin" type reservoirs.

I am using a Brembo radial master from the Ducati monster 1100 evo on my 2007 vfr800. It was a very good match for the factory 36mm slave. The monster master cylinder was actually a tad bigger than the vfr's, but due to the radial action, it was no heavier. Later on I upgraded the slave cylinder to a 38mm CSR slave and it has been great, relatively light even with 100 pound clutch springs and soooooooooo much more feel than the factory clutch system.
