    Guys,

Any one got ideas for how to ditch the stock headers and cans from a Gen 6? I thought about eBay, but I'm not sure the cans especially can be shipped because they are attached to a long pipe at right angles.

Any of you guys successfully sold them or did you just throw out the stock stuff?

    Karsten

metal recycler will pay for some metals. beats the dump. I'm certain you could just put a shipping label on the can with tape and they'll get shipped. Call the post office or UPS, it's their job to ship stuff... the question I'm wondering is, who's ever bought a stock exhaust and what'd they pay? May be it's not worth shipping it.

Either ebay them or put them in the classifieds here. I'm sure someone will buy them. I've bought a set and they shipped them to me, so thats not a problem. Come up with a price and let me know, I may just buy them from you if it's reasonable.

Best thing to do is check Ebay to see if there are other systems listed at the moment. If not, list yours. Chances are there is someone out there who wrecked their bike and needs a pair. This is yet another reason why I keep my stock exhaust, if I wreck, it's a real cheap replacement.

I had no idea folks were interested. The first guy to come get them (and maybe give me a case of good beer) can have them.....

I have some to get rid of as well. (2 sets actually) One stock set of muffs that is bent at the front pipe.

The others have been gutted and are bent towards each other a little bit.

Either set would be perfect for playing with/modifying or whatever you might want to do.

Let me know if anyone is intrested in any part of these two sets.

I thought people were gutting those 6th gen pipes/mufflers to save money from buying another system. That is your target group to sell to or you could do it and save some money too instead of trying to get rid of them.

I know, I know, that Leo Vince sounds awesome though. :hungry:

Due to my lard a$$ and the need for new suspension I realized I have been scrapping the pipe by the center stand on my '00. Do any of the ones you all are getting rid of fit mine?

The standard exhaust is nearly $1600 new if you want to buy it directly from Honda in the UK, so throwing them away is clearly not an option. I'd try eBay or some motorbike magazines spares section, and advertise it until someone wants it. I'm keeping mine just in case as they are brand new lol
