carb tune

    any one balanced carbs on this site .I have just got a carb tune and made a tool to balance the rear s (rubber tube that fits over 10mill ) got it close but could do with the rite tool cos I cant get to the front what s the rite tool ? some don't fit . do I have to adjust to pilot screws to . nothing about that in book

    Pilot screws do affect low speed running but don't affect carb synch. You'll get it all wrong unless you study the FSM procedure as the sequence in which the synch screws are adjusted is critical. You should not need to move any screw more than about 1/8th turn.

    got it balanced bit shit on tick over running just under 1 1/2 rev it sometimes dies running like a bag of shit today so I removed plugs they were sutty to rich pilot screws out 2.1/2 turns . so turn in 1/2 turn and rebalance ?

    No rebalance needed if you only adjusted idle mixture screws.

    pilot screws should have a base setting from manual. if no manual, turn all screws till they stop and back each one out equally about 1 3/4 turns. that should keep bike idleing for sync procedure. adjust pilots by rpm method when done with sync
