I seen a zero grav windscreen on cl for 35$ and was wondering if its worth it. Would this cracked tab be easily fixable with epoxy and be able to stand up to the pressure and vibrations of the bike?

Tough to say. I say skip it and open up that wallet for a MRA Vario Touring screen. The adjustable lip makes it so much better that the 1-piece screens. Smooth air, little to no wind noise.

Its a $35.00 gamble. I would see if a black washer could be epoxied onto that and it still fit. But if you an't afford the possibility of loosing the money, stay away from it.

Run away, both Lexan and acrylic are not bond-friendly.

    You'll thank yourself later!

Call them at 805-388-8803 and ask what kind of plastic it is and buy the appropriate glue. Don't waste your time with the wrong stuff.

+1 with Lint. Proper acrylic cement will cause plastic to soften and bond to itself. Epoxy will not hold. To be on the safe side you could drill two small holes on either side of the break and use fine wire to strengthen.

Never heard of these before. However I did look them up and I really like it.... the price not so much... Perhaps if I get a nice bonus @ my job next quarter I'll throw that kind of money down on one. Until then I'll just wait for a good deal to pop up on the interwebz or the classifieds here
