I have a rear seat cowl from a 91 VFR750F which I had intended to use on the 1990 VFR ridden by my wife. I had two of the broken tabs remade by a friend who has a fiberglass business and is also a VFR owner. Unfortunately, I recently crashed her bike on a test ride after changing the oil. The cowl was not installed on the 90 VFR at the time and is in very good to excellent condition. Since I will not be rebuilding the bike, I have no further use for it and wish to sell it. Having no idea what this cowl is worth I decided to run it by my fellow VFR owners. Can someone please enlighten me as to the value before I put on ebay?

    Thanks,

    R/R

OEM price on the cowls was $100.00 when the bike was new.

Looks like a good job on replicating the shape of the tabs. The question would be how were they attached? Epoxy and polyester resins do not bond well with ABS plastic.

This establishes the relationship between loonies and 6th generation owners?

I lucked out and found one for $35 shipped. Although it is from a '93 (pearl white w/black pad). I would love a red one like yours to go on my '91. Wanna trade?
